A successful brand that hit a ceiling started dropping in sales and profit
When speaking to the leadership team at Tacticon Armament for the first time, it became clear that the original growth the brand has seen has come from being one of the first in the space to launch on Amazon and from providing some of the highest quality goods for a competitive price.
However, the brand hit a ceiling, and sales started to drop before we took over. Once we had a chance to analyze the current market strategy, it was quite evident that their in-house advertising team (which also managed Google, Social Media, etc.) did not have the necessary Amazon expertise to take Tacticon Armament to the next level.

Focusing on reworking the PPC strategy and doubling down on their current winners
Since Tacticon Armament is selling in a restricted category on Amazon, changes to listing copy and content always bring some risk. To avoid dealing with compliance issues during the initial phase of our partnership, we turned our full attention to the currently flawed PPC strategy.
Although the brand had a big following, defensive campaigns to protect brand and product names have not been implemented, so that was one of our first implementations. Furthermore, we reworked the entire bidding strategy, ran multiple in-depth campaign optimizations within the first few weeks, and started segmenting winning search terms into separate campaigns with increased bids and budgets.
Growing monthly sales by over $211k within 30 days
By doubling down on the winners, removing the ad wastage, and lots of in-depth optimization routines, we were able to scale up the monthly sales by $211k in just 30 days with a stable TACOS.
Please note that this sales increase has mainly come from an increase in ad sales by employing a new and revised PPC strategy. If we could have worked on the listing quality without risking potential compliance issues in the short term, the sales increase could have been even more significant. But this goes to show that by simply optimizing the current advertising setup, most established brands can already see a massive lift from just that.
